Hello everyone! I wanted to also post my homemade italian dressing recipe which I use in so many dishes.
I marinate my salmon and chicken before putting it on the grill or oven. I use it in my sandwiches and salads. Most recently I put it in my fresh homemade spaghetti sauce. It has no sodium and no cholesterol which is perfect for my husbands new diet. ;-)
Here is this extremely easy recipe.
1/2 cup Cider vinigar
1/4 cup lemon juice (fresh is best)
1 garlic clove minced
1/2 teaspoon (fresh if your going to use it right away. If not use dry) basil finely chopped
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 dried rosemary crushed.
In a jar with a tight fitting lid, combine all ingredients. Chill for several hours or overnight. Shake well before serving.
Hope you all enjoy this homemade italian dressing recipe!
