DIY Capiz Shell Chandelier

I made this chandelier out of capiz shells. I hung it over my dining room table where I am enjoying it so much. It is such a simple project.

All you need is:
* about 100 capiz shells. Make sure you drill a hole through the top of each one.
*Clear fishing wire
*Some kind of decorative piece (I found this for $10 at Hobby Lobby) It can be round, square, oval, etc.. Just make sure it is sturdy enough to hold all the shells.
*A simple lighting kit (I got mine from Lowes)

2 Steps:

1. Install the light fixture to the decorative piece ( I had to drill a hole in mine to make it work. You may have to as well).
2. Start tying each shell onto the fishing wire at your desired length (Keep in mind the tiered look that I went for)
That is it! So easy! Have fun!
